About Jo Rae Perkins

Born in Portsmouth, Virginia, her father was stationed at Norfolk Naval Station. Her family then moved to Japan for 2 years, eventually settling in Orange County, California. After graduating from Western High School in Anaheim in 1974, JR & George moved to Albany, Oregon in 1975. Married since 1978, they have two children and eleven grandchildren. She is a faith filled follower of Jesus. In her free time, JR enjoys photography, gardening, jewelry making and regularly wins ribbons as an Exhibitor in the Linn County Fair. Jo Rae and George enjoy cruising Oregon's highway & byways in their Corvette and attending car shows.

In 2015, Jo Rae started traveling around the great state of Oregon as Candidate for US Senator, having visited all 36 counties. She has met with constituents in all of Oregon, and has visited almost every County Seat.

Jo Rae has 16 years experience in financial services, insurance producing and as a real estate agent, re-obtaining her Health Insurance License in 2025. In the late 1970's, she worked for rare metals corporation, Wah Chang, awarding jobs to union employees. At Oregon State University after obtaining her Undergrad in 2013, she worked as an Office Specialist in the Animal & Rangeland Sciences Department.
